Gibsonville

     The Town of Gibsonville is a quaint community located on the outskirts of The Town of Elon. Gibsonville is home to nearly 7,000 people who enjoy the small town feel of the place they call home. Gibsonville's area covers less than 4 square miles. Though small in size, Gibsonville has a large and rich culture.

     One noticeable aspect of Gibsonville’s culture is its food. There are a plethora of dining options in Gibsonville including: Reno's Pizza and Italian Restaurant, Anna Maria’s Pizzeria, Pete's Grill, Six Scoops, Happy Garden Chinese Restaurant, and Jack’s Barbecue. Gibsonville has a wide variety of food options. Because Gibsonville is such a small town, the locals admire the food scene's central location. Many restaurants are conveniently located near barbershops, gas stations, and other places one may visit while running errands. For example, Six Scoops is a family-friendly ice cream shop located on Main Street. In addition to serving ice cream, Six Scoops serves hot dogs and other simple sandwich-like foods. It is considered a convenient place for parents to take their kids for a lunch break on a Saturday afternoon. Six Scoops is also inexpensive, which make it accessible to college students who attend the nearby Elon University.
