One of the most popular restaurants in Alameda, Sushi House attracts patrons who would otherwise never set foot on the island. On weekends, the wait can be very long if you get there after 6:30pm, so plan accordingly. The parking lot is also fairly small, and fills up fast. If it's late enough, it probably makes more sense to simply order to-go.

Thankfully, the restaurant is right next to the Alameda Beach along Shoreline Drive. This allows for a spectacular view from inside the restaurant, which has patio seating and large windows all around it. It also makes waiting in line for a table a little bit more bearable, as people can enjoy the sunset and walk along the beach while they wait.
