The Morrison Performing Arts Center is located on the Boise State University Campus. Harry Morrison, who constructed Ann Morrison Park, began planning a performing arts center in 1957. After his death in 1971, his wife, Velma decided to complete her husband’s dream. The Morrison Center opened on April 7th, 1984 after decades of planning. My Fair Lady was performed on its opening night, which has set the tone for the Morrison Center. Many popular Broadway touring shows have found a stage at the Morrison center, as well as comedians, musicians, dance performances of all kinds.

Performers include: Harry Bellefonte, Josh Groban, Tori Amos, and the off-Broadway shows Miss Saigon, Jesus Christ Superstar; Annie; Cats; Chicago; Rent and Mamma Mia!.
