Stony Brook Park is home to 11.3 naturally-wooded acres with walking trails. The park's most notable feature is a small waterfall that drops approximately twenty feet at the edge of the park in front of Ledge Road, which is often considered to be the only significant waterfall within the borders of Darien. Due to the park's location between I-95 and the Northeast Corridor railroad tracks, however, sound pollution is a persistent problem for park-goers.
