Park and Lake History
Lake Elizabeth is part of Central Park. It was named after the city of Fremont's Sister City, Elizabeth, located in Australia in March 22, 1969. The Argus newspaper named it the best park in the Tri-Cities Area in 2004. Lake Elizabeth also won the "BEST PARK" Readers' Choice Award in 2010.
