Bella Vista is a neighborhood in Oakland. It contains the Bella Vista Elementary School and Bella Vista park. The neighborhood contains a mix of housing styles and sizes.
East of Lake Merritt between East 33rd Street, 13th Avenue, East 24th Street and Ninth Avenue.

A lot of western settlers, particularly in the area of the Lynn neighborhood, originally spent time on the East Coast prior to settling California.
