Friday, May 22, is the registration deadline for the 2015 Oakland Summit on Community Policing.
During the summit, Mayor Libby Schaaf and Police Chief Sean Whent will present their vision of Oakland through Community Policing. followed by several workshops on topics such as Community Healing through Restorative Justice, Community Policing in Oakland, DataDriven Policing, Gang Awareness, Procedural Justice, Ceasefire, Public Nuisance and Problem Priorities, Public Works and Violence Prevention Programs.
