Forum on Keeping Oakland Affordable
May 20, 2015
436 14th Street #600
5:30pm - 7:30 pm
If you care about making sure Oakland stays affordable, livable, and accessible for all, please join us for a lively discussion on this important topic, connect with your neighbors and community leaders, learn about one of our city's biggest challenges, and come together to make a difference.
•We'll give you the latest updates on our and our allies*' work to ensure that Oakland residents can stay in their homes, and benefit from the improvements in transportation, infrastructure, and housing happening in their neighborhood.
•You'll hear from Oakland planners and leaders on the full details of the City's proposed impact fee, what the next steps are, and what's at stake moving forward.
These are some complicated issues, but everyone is welcome to join the conversation - even if you don't consider yourself a housing policy wonk. This event is being held in Oakland, organized by Oaklanders for Oaklanders!
Registration is free, and there will be space to network, chat, and enjoy light refreshments. Please RSVP by Monday, May 18 to save your spot.
