Good News Cafe is a miniature cafe on 17th St. near Madison Ave (155 17th St). From the 90s era of cafes, the menu leans heavily on bagels and smoothies. However, you will not be disappointed with a friendly and neighborly vibe here as this is the main cafe that Lakeside residents choose to go to for their caffeine needs. There is outdoor seating and water for dogs. If you are on the West side of Lake Merritt and need a cold or hot drink, this is a convenient spot as its just one block away from the lake.
