The historic Mutual Creamery Building is located at 425 East 11th Street, Oakland, California was designed by architect Alfred William Smith in 1923. Between 2004 and 2006, two of the buildings were acquired and redeveloped by a partnership between Berkeley, California based SB Properties Group and Portland, Oregon based Urban Development Partners, yielding 26 live/work lofts with modern interiors while preserving the Point Richmond red clay exterior, and reusing the wood and concrete waste from the renovation.

Note: the Mutual Creamery is the same company that resided in the Mutual Stores building.
