New and Emerging Events Micro Grant Program
The City's Cultural Arts & Marketing Division is coordinating a micro-grant program to help jump start new and emerging festivals,
street fairs and larger-scale sports, lifestyle and cultural events in underserved areas of Oakland.
The grants will be dispersed on a competitive basis in two categories: City Costs and Fees (to help offset police, fire, public works, etc. fees and costs) and General Support (for non-City costs related to planning, producing and promoting larger-scale community-based events that are open to the general public).
