The Olympia Film Society is a non-profit organization that presents film screenings and other events inside the historic Capitol Theater in downtown Olympia.  The organization is run by a small collective of paid staff and over 100 volunteers.

The mission of the Olympia Film Society is "to enliven and enrich our community by presenting and fostering the development of independent and underrepresented film, music and allied arts."

Every year since 1983, OFS has hosted the annual Olympia Film Festival.

On September 1, 2010, the Olympia Film Society purchased the Capitol Theater.
