"Pittsburgh is a city that has transformed itself from the unsteady days after the mill-town to a bustling convergence of not only three rivers, but also technology, manufacturing, medicine and education.  A thriving art scene, and a thriving Gay Scene, make Pittsburgh stand out when it comes to night life.  Admittedly, cost of living has increased but many of the suburbs are pockets of value, and the bar is set low for success in a city that was determined to have the highest upward mobility in the United States among similar cities and areas."
