There's a lot of food in Santa Rosa.
GROCERY STORES
- Community Market (there's also one in Sebastapol) - Chain of two, I think it's employee owned. Co-op style groceries.
- Oliver's - A local employee-owned chain. Natural foods big box.
- Andy's Produce - ok actually this is in Sebastapol and not really Santa Rosa at all but you should still know about it because it's pseudo-outdoors which is great during a pandemic
- And more!
RESTAURANTS & CAFES
- NY Pie - downtown on 4th street. pizza is meh. they're open late
- Who am I kidding, I have no idea about restaurants and cafes, I moved here at the start of the pandemic. PEOPLE use restaurants and cafes, but microcovid.org still calculates "don't do it"
- Start at the Central library and go for a walk north and west. You'll find 'em.
FARMER'S MARKETS & FARM STANDS
- There are at least two, and they seem to have an antagonistic relationship with each other.
