Government Employee Data

• The Pioneer Press does a yearly Data Practices Act request of government employee salaries and puts them online at http://extra.twincities.com/car/salaries/

Traffic Data

• Real time highway traffic data are available at http://www.dot.state.mn.us/tmc/trafficinfo/developers.html
• There are other, more slowly changing, transportation data available from the MNDOT at http://www.dot.state.mn.us/tda/

Community Data

• Minnesota Compass is a social indicators project that tracks trends in topic areas such as education, economy and workforce, health, housing, public safety, etc.
