RFID the cops

Police badges should contain RFID chips that broadcast name, badge number, department, etc. This way any police encounter can be automatically logged and recorded by the public.

Make officers personally liable for any bodily damage suffered by victims of abuse.

Police misconduct is unlikely to stop as long as the public continues to pay for police misconduct, and there are no consequences for the offending officer. While individual officers can be liable for punitive charges, this is rare and usually the public pays for medical bills, lost wages, distress, etc. This is wrong because is puts the burden on the very people who are victimized. We should increase the cost of misconduct by police by making them liable for the medical expenses of victims.
